To set up your brand settings, first head to the Settings page. Under "General," upload your logo, icon, and meta image.
Once this is complete, navigate to the "Looks" page to find the remaining brand settings.
These include assigning your brand colors, typography (fonts), post header and footer, and layout settings.
Typography
To set your brand fonts, you can either choose the web-safe option or use a Google Font with a web-safe fallback option. If your preferred Google Font is missing, please chat with us to have it added to the list.
Many email clients don’t support external fonts, so we recommend sticking with the web-safe option and selecting the web-safe font that best matches your brand font. Spoks does not support uploading custom fonts because we believe it's better to craft your emails with a clearer understanding of how they will look to the majority of your target audience. If you still wish to use custom fonts, we recommend using design tools like Canva to create title images and use those for your post titles.
Header
The Header settings control the design of your post headers.
Here you can set your logo, logo click URL (logo link), and logo width.
You can also enable an announcement bar and/or navigation links that will appear at the bottom of your header.
The navigation links typically include links to your home page, shipping information, and any other pages you would like to bring attention to.
You can also adjust the margin and padding settings if needed.
If you want to add custom content that appears after each header, enable the "After header" option to reveal an area where you can add any type of content.
Your header settings will be added to each post you create by default but can be locally overridden for a specific post.
Footer
The Footer includes options for setting a content area both before and after the footer, in addition to color settings, social media links, and fields for your unsubscribe text and address. For delivery reliability, it is important to use a valid address in your text field.
Layout
The Layout settings control the default roundness and padding of images, sections, buttons, and surfaces.
These settings can also be overridden at the post or block level (e.g., making one button full width while the others are contained).
