Components

What are components in Spoks, and how should you use them? Components are reusable, static content blocks that you can insert into any post. They are designed for content that stays consistent across multiple posts, such as shipping sections or FAQs.

Creating a component

Components are created from Content -> Components.

Click Create component and build the content just like you would in a post editor.

Once saved, the component becomes available to use in any post through the Components block.

Using components in posts

While editing a post, add a Components block and select the component you want to insert.

The component is inserted as a single, linked block.

Because components are global, the same component can be reused across many posts without duplication.

Editing global components

When you edit a component from the Components library, all posts using that component are updated automatically.

This is ideal for content that must stay consistent everywhere, such as:

  • Legal or compliance text

  • Reusable CTAs

Detaching a component

If you want to customize a component for a single post, you can detach it.

Detaching converts the component into regular blocks within that post, allowing you to edit it freely without affecting other posts.

When to use components

Use components when you want shared, centrally managed content.

Use regular blocks when the content is unique to a single post.

Components help you stay consistent, reduce manual updates, and keep recurring content easy to manage at scale.
