Two-way sync lets Spoks push changes back into your connected Shopify store. It covers two things, which you can switch on independently:
Sync consent status to Shopify — when a contact's marketing consent changes in Spoks, the corresponding Shopify customer is updated to match.
Create customers in Shopify — when a new contact is created in Spoks, a matching customer is created in your Shopify store.
Both options are off by default. They only cover changes going from Spoks to Shopify. The other direction needs no setup: marketing consent changes made in Shopify, unsubscribes included, sync into Spoks automatically.
How to enable it
Open your feed's Settings and go to Integrations.
Find the Shopify card showing your connected store.
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the card.
In the Two-way sync section, turn on the toggle(s) you want.
Changes are saved immediately — there is no Save button.
Good to know
Two-way sync applies to consent changes made after you enable it. Any contact — existing or new — will have their future consent changes synced to Shopify once the toggle is on. Consent changes that happened before you enabled the sync will not be pushed retroactively to Shopify.
You can turn either toggle off again at any time; syncing stops from that moment on.
