By default, all your contacts in Shopify are automatically synced to Spoks.
But if you have a list of contacts you would like to import, you can head to the “Contacts” screen and click the “Import list” button in the top right corner to import your list.
Only import people who agreed to receive marketing from your store. See Which contacts can I import?
The contact list can either be a CSV or excel file.
After the list is imported, you will be asked to map the relevant columns from your file.
Make sure to also map the columns for email and SMS subscription status. This option can also be overridden if necessary, e,g, because you are importing a list of unsubscribed contacts from your provider.
Contacts you already have: If a row in your file matches a contact already in Spoks, that contact is updated rather than duplicated. Each Tag column holds one tag. To give a contact several tags, add one column per tag and map each one to Tag. Tags in your file are added to the tags the contact already has, and none are removed. The email and SMS subscription status you map replaces the contact's current status.
You can also export your contacts from the same Contacts screen using the download icon at the far top right of the contacts table.
